About Us

We offer auto, homeowners, health, life, business and commercial, bonds, and virtually any other insurance policies.

Vaught Wright & Bond Insurance

In 1938 Mance Vaught made a life-changing decision to open his own full-service insurance agency. He chose Placerville, California, a friendly town in El Dorado County, California to start his one-man insurance agency. Although we have grown, Mance’s original practice of high quality policies for almost any insurance need, remains our standard. We match your requirements with the best value by offering a complete, and competitive assortment of policies from many insurance companies.  We are staffed with experienced, knowledgeable agents to advise you in difficult to place coverage.

“We are a group of insurance professionals who care for each other both personally and professionally. We believe in putting your interests first in all situations.”

Meet The Team

We view our clients as not only who we work for, but also who we work with. Just as you will carefully select your insurance agent, we are selective of who we do business with. We choose to work with professional individuals who understand the importance of being properly insured and protected.

Why an Independent Agent?

  • You have a licensed professional working for you for no additional cost!
  • We shop to find the best value and the best coverage, rather than being obligated to just one company.
  • There is no such thing as “the best insurance company.”  All situations are different, and rates and coverage can change from year-to-year.
  • If you have a claim, would you prefer to be represented by an agent who is not employed by your insurance company? No conflict of interest. That is what your independent agent provides to you!

We choose to work with professional individuals who understand the importance of being properly insured and protected.
